“Journey into the heart of the San”

The Culture of Tracking, Nature Connection & Mentoring with the Kalahari Bushmen

Jon Young along with the late Grandfather

Come experience stories of Jon’s very recent journey with one of the last San Bushman communities living their original patterns. This Kalahari culture is one of the oldest on Earth and has so much to teach us about how we—as human beings—can connect with nature and one another.

This ancient culture is truly living and thriving directly from the land—and, sadly, it is now in the sunset of it’s existence.

Tracker and Storyteller, Jon Young along with the late Grandfather, Ingwe, founded the Wilderness Awareness School and helped to inspire the global nature connection movement. Jon and Ingwe—who was mentored by the East African Akamba and the Kalahari Bushmen—brought together common cultural elements from indigenous cultures around the world to create a map for how people can effectively mentor connection with people and nature, and thereby helping to bring abundance and regeneration for the earth and it’s people. Jon’s recent experiences brought powerful messages of validation for this important model.
